Visits are by appointment and come as a tour: Peter Lai is “a wonderful host,” “full of information about all the items you see on his tour,” from pieces he designed and wore himself to “beautiful furniture, pottery, rental clothing/costumes, fans, pictures, kabuki masks and so much more.” One visitor who called “a couple of hours in advance” found him “so accommodating and welcoming,” and one family calls the place “a treasure in the midst of LA.”
